She Kills Me

V1:
A                                                         F#m

And the venom taste so sweet, I think I feel alright

Make Things Worse

The two verses and everything that's not the chorus is G-E-A-D. The intro/break is just a long version of it with an extra C throw in and out of the G. The verse is just a shorter G-E-A-D
(Verse 1)
G                             E
I'm the king of being royally fucked up
A                                    D
And I'm the champion of winning at losing
I'm a superstar at failing spectacularly
I'm the president of substance abusing

(Chorus)
             G   D     A                            C
And I'm on-ly better at making things worse (X3)
C
Make things worse

(break G-E-A-D)

(Verse 2)
I'm the captain of a boat going down
I'm the protagonist of a book that won't sell
I'm the very top of being at the bottom
I'm a hero at landing a spot in hell

(Chorus)
(Break G-E-A-D)
*Hold the last D and bridge into a palm mute crescendo using the chorus*
Finish out with regular chorus (I play it harder/faster)

(Ending)
C                          G~
Make things worse

Savior Self

The G alternates with me taking my finger off the top string, have no idea what chord that is though. Just changes the top B down to an A. The whole thing is pretty much the alternating G,Am, and D.

(Verse 1)
G                           Am                 D
Don't trust anything that you are told
G                                                                         Am                  D
It was probably filtered through a bunch of bullshit before it got to you
If you run into anyone that says they have all the answers
Cover your ears and run in the opposite direction
Cause I think that true knowledge is knowing you don't know anything
I've come to the realization I don't know a fucking thing
If I could go back in time I'd probably punch myself in the face
For all the times I was a know it all smart alecky piece of shit

(Pre chorus)
Am
I'm not saying to not have faith in anything
B
But you kinda have to be skeptical
C                                           D
of a world built on self serving lies

(Chorus)
           G
Savior Self
Am          D
ooo-wah-ooo
           G
Savior Self
Am               D
It starts with you
(repeat chorus again)

(Verse 2)
Being a complete pessimist is no way to go through life
But I urge caution to make sure to read between the lines
Someone is probably trying to sell you something or profit off of you
They'll rob you of hope and try to dehumanize you
But I'm not a fucking statistic, demographic, or faceless drone
I am flesh and blood with thoughts and feelings
Because money is just paper and things are our chains
If you're just waiting to be rescued you're already a lost cause

(Pre Chorus)
(Chorus)
End with...
            G
Savior Self
Am                D         G~
It starts and ends with you

Anti-Morning Person Blues

A-D-E7 throughout, pretty simple, standard blue format

Well, I wake up and rub the sleep from my eyes (x2)
I could use a couple more hours, man time flies

Well, I’m just not ready to start the day (x2)
But, I don’t wanna get fired I’ll have to find a way

Well, I figure I’d just rather be dead (x2)
Load up this gun and put it to my head

Well, I need something to stop me (x2)
I found some salvation, gonna set me free

Gonna tell ya, the two things I need (x3)

Anti-Depressants and Coffee (however many times...)

Can't Figure Out

Entire thing is just G-A, find the strumming and you’re set. Slight break after the chorus that strums out and throws in a C.

Well, I did pretty good in school
But, I’ve done pretty poor in life
And sometimes, I start to think
There might be a correlation
Like I should have been learning something useful
Instead of being good at Jeopardy

These are things, I can’t figure out

Well, I start to wonder about all the times
I spent depressed, getting drunk, or chasing girls
If that energy had gone towards something productive
Would I have maybe accomplished anything
Invented something cool or cure a disease
Inspired hearts and minds and started a revolution

These are things, I can’t figure out

Well, I’m curious to how I’ll be remembered
I’m afraid it won’t be what I hoped for
I really did wanna try to save the world
But, I never could fix my own trainwreck of a life
Woefully short of all my lofty aspirations
What do I do with my time left?

These are things, I can’t figure out

G                           A7
And overcome my failure obsession
CHORUS
It'd probably be funny to someone that isn't me
But I wade through the waters of misery
Dark waters rise but I'm the captain of this vessel
Down with the ship I go and with these demons I wrestle
Drowning these problems is no way to survive
I feel like I'm 40 but I'm only 25
CHORUS
I must be a ghost because you walk right through me
Words fall on deaf ears you don't hear my plea
Lost in the shuffle, just a joker in the pack
Can't write you a symphony I'm a musical hack
But I'll poor my heart out onto four strings
And maybe I'll finally say all the *right things* (strum out, pause)
...Not likely
CHORUS, end with
Em                       Em
Broke and a joke, Broke and a joke
G                         G
Broke and a joke, Broke and a joke,
A7                                       Em~
Broke and a juh-uh-oh-oh-ke

The Fuck Up Get Down

The Fuck Up Get Down

C-E7-Am-G (x2, strum out second G)

          C                              E7
In the dimly lit dives where we reside
Am                                     G
Gathering around where our poisons supplied
C                                   E7
Hanging with the losers, jokers, and thieves
       Am                               G
We'll reminisce and wash away our misdeeds
C                                   E7
Life is tough and can be so unfair
Am                      G
Things can be more than you can bare
      C                                            E7
But don't slump those shoulders or hang your head
Am                             G (hold strum)
There is something to do instead.....

(Chorus)
                    F~        E7~
We'll do the fuck up, get down
Am~      G
We'll all gather round
        F~                        E7~
We'll raise our voices and our glass
       Am~                   G
And tell the world to kiss our ass
(repeat once strumming out everything)

(Break) C-E7-Am-G (x2, just like verse but faster)

My kingdom is failure this stool my throne
I don't want to rule this land all alone
With my crown of misery perched atop
I'll check to see if there's one last drop
But there is hope so do not fear
In this place you'll find a helpful ear
If you think you're alone it's not the case
Join on in and revel in disgrace

(Chorus)
(Break) C-E7-Am-G (x2, just like verse but faster)

There's plenty of room so don't feel crammed
We'll toast on high and do the dance of the damned
Here's to coming up on short and always being last
The rallying cry of all us outcast
They'll sweep us away all out of sight
But here's to us on this joyous night
Where we congregate and suspend our despair
Can't stop us now cause we don't care

(Last Chorus)
                    F~        E7~
We'll do the fuck up, get down
Am~      G
We'll all gather round
        F~                        E7~
We'll raise our voices and our glass
       Am~                   G (strum, pause)
And tell the world to kiss our ass
(Chorus x2) increasing intensity, last line ends...
       Am                   G (hold strum)
And tell the world to kiss....... our..........
C-E7-Am-G (x2, strum out last G, end C)
