Well, I wake up and rub the sleep from my eyes (x2)

I could use a couple more hours, man time flies

Well, I’m just not ready to start the day (x2)

But, I don’t wanna get fired I’ll have to find a way

I found some salvation, gonna set me free

Can't Figure Out

Entire thing is just G-A, find the strumming and you’re set. Slight break after the chorus that strums out and throws in a C.

Well, I did pretty good in school

But, I’ve done pretty poor in life

And sometimes, I start to think

There might be a correlation

Like I should have been learning something useful

Instead of being good at Jeopardy

These are things, I can’t figure out

Well, I start to wonder about all the times

I spent depressed, getting drunk, or chasing girls

If that energy had gone towards something productive

Would I have maybe accomplished anything

Invented something cool or cure a disease

Inspired hearts and minds and started a revolution

These are things, I can’t figure out

Well, I’m curious to how I’ll be remembered

I’m afraid it won’t be what I hoped for

I really did wanna try to save the world

But, I never could fix my own trainwreck of a life

Woefully short of all my lofty aspirations

What do I do with my time left?
